A Boho- Inspired Styled Wedding

Man oh man, my first styled shoot is in the books and it turned out to be such a success! We decided to do a boho-inspired wedding at Hidden River Ranch and I had so many vendors eager to be apart. I am so thankful to all their hard work to make this day a success. We wanted to put a little spin on the typical "moody boho style" since my photography and the other photographer, Lauren Garrison, have a more light and airy style. Our main focus for the shoot was to bring new and fresh ideas to the wedding industry and each vendor did a great job bringing fun ideas to the table. 

After we got the table and decor set up outside, it started absolute DOWNPOURING!! Cue everyone, hands on, sprinting outside, grabbing decorations and running them back inside. After about 30 minutes of it raining off and on, we finally had to make the difficult decision to just move the head table onto the covered patio for good. Admittedly, we were disappointed we couldn't shoot the decorations where we had originally wanted to, but we made the best of it and it wound up being gorgeous no matter where we put them. 

A little while later the rain finally moved on and we were able to shoot outside! Laura and Kyle were our models and they ROCKED it! Laura was one of my sorority sisters in college and she warned me she was not an actual model, which I quickly reassured her was actually a good thing! Sometimes people with modeling backgrounds are actually harder to work with as far as posing. They were so willing to be outsode even when it was drizzling and had fantastic attitudes even when the vendors were running around like crazy! 

All in all, yes, styled shoots are a lot of work, but it is so worth it and all the vendors are so pleased with how it came out. Enjoy some of our favorites from the day!
