Oh friends, I am so excited to share this wedding with you today. Why, you ask? Well that is because this was my VERY FIRST wedding to ever photograph!! I felt so incredibly honored that Katie and Christian trusted me to capture their beautiful day. I am so excited to announce that there were no "the photographer tripped and fell during the ceremony" stories to tell. I will now admit I was nervous to be shooting my first wedding and my husband can vouch that I did not sleep much the night before as I was going through every scenario in my head but man was it worth it. The day came out so beautifully!

There were so many sweet moments throughout the day, starting with a very teary daddy/daughter first look! It melted my heart. But what stuck out to me most was the incredible love, warmth and sincerity of Katie, Christian and everyone around them. The second I walked into the getting ready room, Katie's parents greeted me with the sweetest smile and hug to make me feel like family.

During the reception, you could FEEL the love, not just by Katie and Christian, but by every single person in the room. I do have to say I received the sweetest compliment. While I was out taking pictures with just Katie and Christian, Katie said "We knew this was your first wedding to photograph so we weren't entirely sure what to expect, but Christian and I were just saying earlier how it seems like you done a thousand weddings!" .... Guys, BIGGEST compliment ever to a first-timer! My nerves immediately went away and we had so much fun capturing their first photos as husband and wife.

Katie and Christian, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your day and for trusting me to capture it. You two are the sweetest couple and I adore both pf your families. I am excited for you to see a few favorites from the day!
